General Terms and Conditions («GTC») PaperCheck

PaperCheck provides services to clients through the website https://papercheck.ai .

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) regulate the conclusion, content and processing of the service between the customer and PaperCheck.

These General Terms and Conditions form an integral part of all offers and contracts between the customer and PaperCheck.

1. Service

PaperCheck offers service packages to analyze your bachelor's or master's thesis. We provide immediate feedback and a personalized plan to efficiently complete all the remaining tasks of your thesis.

Please note, however, that 100% error detection is not possible.

2. Payment terms

The purchase You have to pay for one of the service packages immediately. You have the option of paying with a link, card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) or Twint .

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee for all our service packages, limited to 14 days after the date of purchase. After this period, no refunds will be issued.

To request a refund, simply contact our customer support team within the 14-day period. While not required, we greatly appreciate any feedback you may have about the service, as it helps us continuously improve our product.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. The refund process may take 5-10 business days to complete, depending on your payment provider.

3. Right of withdrawal for consumers (EU)

Consumers residing in the European Union have the legal right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day of conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, a simple notification to info@papercheck.ai within the period is sufficient. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification before the deadline expires.

If the contract is withdrawn, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you no later than 14 days from the day on which we were informed of the withdrawal. The refund will be made to the original payment method used.

4. Limitation of liability

The liability of PaperCheck in connection with the contractual relationship or the platform is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

As a user, you are aware that when using PaperCheck, you are using AI to support your thesis, which may not be permitted in all educational institutions (e.g. universities, colleges, etc.). As a user of PaperCheck, you are therefore responsible for ensuring that when using PaperCheck, you comply with the requirements for your thesis and the resources permitted by your educational institution. As a user, you are therefore responsible for ensuring that the use of PaperCheck is permitted in your educational institution and for informing yourself about how the use of PaperCheck must be correctly declared to your educational institution.

Any liability for damages directly or indirectly related to the contractual relationship is excluded, regardless of the legal basis on which the damages are claimed.

5. Jurisdiction and applicable law

This contractual relationship is governed exclusively by Swiss law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising is the registered office of PaperCheck. However, PaperCheck is entitled, at its own discretion, to assert its claims at the customer's place of residence.
