PaperCheck Billing and Plans
PaperCheck gives you high-quality, specialized feedback on your academic writing without forcing you into a long contract. Pick a one-time package for a specific thesis, or a monthly plan if you write regularly. Every plan is credit-based, so you only ever spend what your paper actually costs to analyse.

How Credits Work
Every analysis is priced in credits.
- 1 credit = 100 words. A 6,000-word seminar paper costs around 60 credits to analyse. A 15,000-word bachelor's thesis costs roughly 150 credits. A 30,000-word master's thesis costs around 300 credits.
- Credits are deducted only when you run a full check. Compatibility checks before payment are always free.
- One-time credits expire after a generous window so unused credits don't sit forever; monthly credits refresh with each billing cycle.
Think of credits as a budget: the right plan is the one whose credit pool covers the number of analyses you expect to run.
The "Under 6,000 Words" Discount
Reviewing a 15-page essay takes less computational power than analysing a 120-page dissertation, and we pass those savings on.
If your uploaded document contains less than 6,000 words, a discount is applied automatically to all three one-time tiers at checkout. Depending on your region (CHF, EUR, USD, GBP, CAD), Basic drops to around €15 / CHF 19, with similar reductions on Plus and Ultimate. You don't need a code or a student ID; the discount is detected from your word count.
Seamless Upgrades (Pay Only the Difference)
If you bought Basic to check a draft and later decide you want the Defense Trainer or more credits, you can upgrade without paying twice.
Pick a Higher Tier
Open the upgrade option in your account or from the in-app upgrade prompt and choose the plan you actually want.
We Calculate the Delta
We take the price of the higher tier in your currency, subtract what you already paid, and show you the exact difference before checkout. No double-charging, no pro-rating math you need to verify.
Pay the Difference
Complete checkout for the delta only. Your existing credits and entitlements stay attached to your account.
Features Unlock Instantly
Extra credits, additional custom checks, and defense prep tools appear in your account immediately. You can continue from exactly where you left off.
University and Enterprise Access
